Mr. Parakh Kapoor is a first-generation entrepreneur whose journey reflects vision, resilience, and the ability to build businesses ahead of their time.

In 2005, when electronic security and surveillance was still an emerging space in India, he played a foundational role in building Zicom from the ground up. He drove retail security expansion and established credibility with marquee clients such as Samsung Electronics, Shinhan Bank, and The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. Under his leadership, the company became the No. 1 pan-India distributor in its segment.

He further led offshore operations, executing a Ministry of External Affairs–driven security initiative for the Indian Embassies in Nepal and Dhaka, managing complete embassy security infrastructure. He also successfully conducted surveillance test runs for multiple stations under the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation project in New Delhi — demonstrating his ability to deliver mission-critical infrastructure solutions.

Around 2010, he transitioned into the polymer industry, beginning with trading in ABS, Polycarbonate, PP, and Polyamide compounds. This evolved into the establishment of Polykit Engineering Polymers — a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit incorporating advanced Japanese compounding technology.

Today, Polykit serves leading automotive and consumer durable brands including Maruti Suzuki, Honda, and Daikin, and is expanding into markets across Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Kapoor remains actively involved in formulation development and customized compound innovation through Polykit’s modern in-house laboratory.

A strong advocate of sustainable, biodegradable, and renewable technologies, he integrates responsible manufacturing practices into Polykit’s operations.
